Mu Jorim (Braised Radish)
ingredients
- ½ medium-sized Korean radish
- a handful of dried anchovies and shrimps (optional)
- 800ml water
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 4 sp chili flakes
- 2 sp sugar
- 1 sp minced garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 sp sesame oil
- 1 cup chopped scallions
steps
- Chop the radish into 1/2” half-moon shapes and lay them in a wide pot/pan.
- Put optional anchovies and shrimps and all braising liquid in the pan.
- Boil in high heat for 10 minutes and lower the heat to medium.
- Serve when the radishes turn tender.
